30th May 2004 Windsurfing: Portland Wind Direction: S/W Wind Stength: 8 kts Surf / Sea State: flat Air Temperature: not to bad Sea Temperature: not to bad Weather: Cloudy Max Speed: Distance Covered: Took SJ for her second lesson and met up with Sean and Jane in the big carpark.I rigged up the 5mtr whilst Sean set up camp for the little fella and all the other guests who came during the day. On the water SJ started well but an increasing wind made life a little hard for her , after around an hour or so we abandoned and returned to the SeanBo BBQ base camp area.Good food great company and a good family at the beach type day.I sailed late on using Seanbo's 8mtr and impressed all with my light wind trickery , even managing to blagg an obvious fall in a "rig drop dive in" move..Popped in to Windtek on the way to the pub and SJ bought me a lovely new animal kit bag for our impending week in Vass in June. SeanBo liked the look of it but .........He aint going so he wont be needing one.. J... |
